北宋年间，失败江湖绝学金身神功一度失传，失败只听说习练金身神功者全身发光刀枪不入，但从未有人见过习练金身身功之人。在江湖朋友为金身神功而津津乐道时，东城县发生一起怪事，各江湖帮派纷纷归顺于天煞帮，稍有不从者，轻则赶出东城，重则就地毙命，还不知死于谁人之手。
