回复 :安妮（桑德拉·布洛克 Sandra Bullock 饰）和杰克的恋情并未走到最后，失落的安妮决意不再与特警恋爱，现任男友亚历克斯（杰森·帕特里克 Jason Patric 饰）为爱情隐藏特警身份，但无奈还是暴露，于是携安妮前往加勒比海度假作为弥补。在他们的游轮上，潜藏着一名危险人物——设计轮船操作系统的工程师基格（威廉·达福 Willem Dafoe 饰），基格身患绝症却遭到解雇，他为了报复公司掌控了轮船的自动航行系统，在船内装满炸弹，船长只得与乘客弃船，危机关头，亚历克斯挺身而出，与安妮返回船上救助被困的乘客。在游轮冲向毁灭终点的同时，安妮又落入了基格之手……
