少女琪拉出生在一个人类和吸血鬼共同组建的幸福家庭中，国产她的外公宗二郎（柄本明 饰）希望和人类共存，国产所以发明了可以衰老的药物，并且发誓绝不吸食人类的鲜血，于是便以人类的模样生活在灿烂阳光下。然而一场灾难突然降临，神秘吸血鬼杀害了琪拉的父母，以惩罚他们跨越种族结合。在此之后，琪拉随外公来到横滨，在经营了长达120年之久的吸血鬼面包店落脚下来。如是过了数年，琪拉（桐谷美玲 饰）已长成美丽时尚的可爱女孩子。她认识了意图自杀的女孩美琪（孟耿如 饰），更重逢童年有一面之缘的好友阿哲（户冢祥太 饰）。吸血鬼别样的青春生活悠然展开，而她能否走出一条和父母迥然不同的道路来呢？
