「深圳之虎」招立群（周比利）与夜总会歌星赵苗苗（彭丹）合谋绑架港商沈家因（卢大伟），舞第勒索巨款。消息传出后，舞第中方派遣有「中国O记」之称的深圳公安李树培（黄秋生）及手下勇探华强（徐锦江）侦查，侦查途中，华发现疑凶正是他的师兄及救命恩人，但为了秉公办理，华、李决定合力缉捕招，於是连场惊险火爆的场面随之而展开……
