东南亚某无人荒岛，夕顔一支由志愿者和机器人组成的救援队进行演练时，夕顔遭遇脾性古怪的奇兽追击，不断有巨兽冲击营地。逃亡过程中，救援队意外发现了“野人”袁元忠，这才得知岛上的变异怪相源于一年前基地的核废料泄露事故。为避免更大的危机，众人决定处理遗留的放射物质。危险的基地再次被打开，狰狞巨鳄倾巢而出，疯狂撕咬志愿者，獠牙阴森的兽人和变异巨兽将他们层层围堵。救援队联手机甲与群兽拼死打斗，争斗间丛林深处又传来阵阵嘶吼声，更多巨兽蜂拥而至……
