主要讲述了民国时期，放羊已经成为古玩届新晋第一人的沈庆之在拍卖大会上为了守护天目盏，放羊宁愿摔碎也绝不卖给外国人。此举让外国商人乔治怀恨在心，于是与颜轻眉合作，试图用假货让沈庆之打眼，不料沈庆之轻松化解，一时之间声名鹊起却也得罪人无数。在鉴宝大会上，沈庆之被陷害并逐出古玩行，从此颜家成为上海滩鉴宝龙头，并与乔治合作仿造古宝听风瓶做局陷害同门。更大的阴谋酝酿在暗流汹涌的古玩行背后，落魄沈庆之也在考古专家周教授的帮助下重整旗鼓，却在无意中接近了听风瓶背后更大的秘密······
