《我的英雄学院》新剧场版定名《我的英雄学院：衣柜英雄崛起》，衣柜同时释出海报，确定将于2019年12月20日在日本上映。新剧场版由原著作者堀越耕平担任总监修/角色原案，将展开原创故事。堀越耕平表示该剧场版在某种意义上是原作的最终回，因为他把曾经想好用在最终回的捏他之一用在了该片上。
