秦卫（孙坚 饰）是一名广告公司里名不见经传的小小职员，春暖某日他喝得酩酊大醉露宿街头不能自理，春暖是大学时代的女友陈娜（潘霜霜 饰）发现了他，将他带回自己家中，这也就意味着，在老婆李清（白冰 饰）毫不知情的情况下，秦卫不仅彻夜未归，还和前女友共处一室。秦卫知道自己一定要用生命捍卫这个秘密，面对妻子的质问，秦卫声称自己整晚都和同事石头待在一起加班。让秦卫没有想到的是，那晚石头家中竟然发生了命案，这也就意味着，若秦卫当时真的跟石头在一起，那么他就成为了这桩命案中非常重要的一部分。为了圆谎，秦卫不得不撒下了一个又一个谎言。
