彼得是一名在大城市工作的警察，下山正在调查布拉索夫的一个人口贩卖团伙。他救助女孩后，下山总会思念自己的妹妹尤利，她在22年前于家乡瓦兰失踪。一天，彼得接到一个电话，得知人们在雪山上的松树中发现了妹妹的尸体，便决定回到特兰西瓦尼亚矿镇。随之而来的调查不仅迫使他面对镇上令人窒息的犯罪率，还使他回到过去的迷宫中，面对自己的恐惧。
