唐大道夫妻因疾病夺走儿子而痛彻心扉，松嶋痛楚之中，松嶋父亲唐大道开始反思自己在处理父子关系上的缺憾以及个人心绪上的阴霾，他渴望与儿子对话，以安抚儿子的灵魂。影片改编自茅盾文学奖得主周大新的同名小说《安魂》。
