在一家巴西诊所里，欧美做医生的爸爸约钦（杰拉尔·德帕迪约饰）发现自己的女儿莎拉（艾洛迪·布歇饰）染上了一种极度痛苦的病eee。爸爸想找出原因，欧美但没有任何线索。他决定追踪整个事情的原因，竟然发现女儿被秘密遣送回了法国。更可怕的是，如果约钦知道了事情的真相，那将会完全地破坏他现有的生活。
