根岸崇一（岸尾大辅 配音）是一个老实巴交的青年，亚洲怀揣着对于未来的希冀，亚洲他只身一人来到东京念大学。崇一非常的热爱音乐，尤其是流行乐，他最大的梦想就是可以抱着吉他，将自己喜欢的歌唱给更多的人听。为了出人头地，崇一参加了新人音乐家招募的活动，哪知道在误打误撞之中加入了名叫“Detroit Metal City”的恶魔系重金属乐队，成为了其中的骨干。崇一在脸上涂抹古怪的油彩，违心的以嘶吼的方式唱着狂野劲爆的歌，哪知道他的表演竟然意外的大受好评，很快，崇一就在重金属摇滚圈里出了名。崇一暗恋着名为相川由利（长泽雅美 配音）女孩，糟糕的是，相川最讨厌的就是重金属了，为了成就自己小小的恋情，崇一处心积虑的想要隐瞒自己大大的秘密。

When he sees a ladder PINGU has the perfect solution and climbs up an iceberg from where he is able to see all the hiding places. But the tables are turned when the others remove the ladder and PINGU is left stranded on his vantage point.
