Others regard miracles as merely unlikely events on which our brains impose divine meaning. Belief in miracles, however we define them, could be what gives us hope and drives us to turn possibility into reality.End of Days – Violent upheaval and fiery judgment fill popular imagination, but was the lore of apocalypse born out of the strife that plagued the Middle East two millennia ago? The true religious meaning of the apocalypse may not be a global war, but an inner revelation.Resurrection – How have beliefs in the afterlife developed, and how has our reaction to the afterlife changed the way we live this life? Now that science is making such rapid advances, we may soon be confronted with digital resurrection. What will that do to our beliefs?To explore each of these topics, host and narrator Freeman went on the ground to some of humanity’s greatest religious sites, including Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall, India’s Bodhi Tree, Mayan temples in Guatemala and the pyramids of Egypt. He traveled with archaeologists to uncover the long-lost religions of our ancestors, such as those at the 7500 B.C. Neolithic settlement Çatalhöyük in Turkey. He immersed himself in religious experiences and rituals all around the world, and became a test subject in scientific labs to examine how the frontiers of neuroscience are intersecting the traditional domain of religion.- \

回复 :身负盖世武功的华英雄，因受天煞孤星之困，远离亲友，孤身独闯火鸟岛，为解华、赤两家之恩怨，途中与把守外围的火鸟交战，几经困险，终达火鸟岛。在岛上，英雄藉其精湛医术，为居民解除困苦，深得岛民称赞，得见小堡主赤焰，并结识南北二老及紫衣等人。英雄见岛上生活休闲，决留下居住，帮助岛上居民。堡主赤炼鹰王诈死练功，神功初成之日，复出揭露华家罪孽，英雄被捕定罪，全岛居民上下求情，鹰王与英雄公平比试，最后英雄以德以武服之，并愿留下重振赤家，终于鹰王冰释前嫌。英雄儿子华剑雄，天资敏悟，身手灵活，不肯跟自小养大他的生奴学医，反爱到处游玩闯祸，某日结识无影门人余不为，被卷入与琼天和司徒莫问的三角恋情中。而莫问乃气宗司徒无量的儿子，无量为扬名立万，强要儿子勤练武功，莫问迫于与琼天分手，刚巧遇上剑雄，不为和琼天在一起，误会加深，大打起来，最后无量解围，并扬言三日后血洗无影门。不为负伤前往通知，剑雄仗义送他上山，生奴发觉，尾随追上恐剑雄闯祸，途中巧遇无量等人。生奴当年乃无量之恩人，并传与生奴一式无量神掌，现久别重逢，盛情下齐上无影门。大战结门，无量父子血洗无影门，只有不为能逃脱，剑雄为救不为一命，愿接莫问十掌，怎知七掌后已负伤，生奴迫于代接，最后一掌惨死当场，剑雄悲痛不已，抱走生奴，但不为始终也逃不出莫问的魔掌。生奴死后，剑雄意志消沉，无量为补偿负约之误，决传功于剑雄，剑雄亦开始重新做人。某日在执拾生奴遗物中得知要往赤家，收拾心情毅然前往。途中巧遇踏雪，感情有所发展，可惜临危散乱，失去踪影。到达岛后重遇思傲，两人被赤焰等误会，怀疑是奸细，最后得知是英雄之子，误会全消。英雄父子重遇，解释分离之情，并愿留下帮助赤家，于是亦展开英雄、紫衣及赤焰和剑雄、踏雪、思傲的感情发展，当然有明有暗，有惊有喜，最后剑雄终与踏雪成亲，而地狱门方面，要求剑雄完成前任掌门心愿接任掌门。剑雄尚在考虑，怎知引起莫问猜疑，夜袭踏雪家，多名叔父们惨死，踏雪也被捉，剑雄决与莫问誓不两立，毅然断臂解除与无量之恩义。而堡中思傲与紫衣亦神秘失踪，英雄父子怀疑地狱门所为，两人动身前往地狱门。途中发现紫衣中毒，英雄与紫衣寻药解毒，剑雄先行上路，途中血族三煞迎接入内，剑雄得知目前分裂情况，戾气日重，魔气日盛，于是决心改变，一改颓风，勤练奇招。英雄为救紫衣，不惜冒险，紫衣十分感动，最后药到病除，齐回地狱门，元老会首领元老..
