回复 :都市繁荣背后，隐藏着不少社会问题，包括：新移民不能适应香港教育制度，并受同学歧视，最后误入歧途贩卖迷幻药。问题少女因家庭破碎，终日在街上流连，为贪图享乐而任卡拉OK伴唱女郎，甚至为争男友而与人殴斗。低下阶层的青少年，因黑社会家庭背景，喜欢以暴易暴，终被学校拒诸门外，成"人球学生"。程立仁（罗嘉良）为挽救边缘青少年，立志当社会工作者，与同事司徒敏（黄凯欣）、余家乐（魏骏杰）、郑振东（骆应钧）、郭耀良（麦长青）等积极工作，以忘我精神辅导边缘少年，盼他们能重走正道。仁在处理案件的过程中，体会到与其父之间多年未能解决的沟通问题；另外，他与女督察张凯雯（陈秀雯）发展出一段深藏的恋情。在工作、家庭及感情上，仁正面对不同的冲击。
