It's not that Mum and Dad aren't wonderful. But Dad slugs ketchup straight from the bottle, Mum is obsessed with Masterchef, and Grandma likes to wear her new bikini around the house.

回复 :罗亦沾（罗志强 饰）与张少勤（陈美玲 饰）是对新婚夫妇，过着甜蜜温馨的二人世界。一日，久居外国、思想新潮的外母杜秋池（梁珊 饰），因与丈夫有意见，于是返回香港，进驻小夫妇之家。外母对女婿诸多要求，有时候又蛮不讲理，令到女婿要想法子对付她。亦沾的朋友司徒康（卢国雄 饰），最喜欢替他出鬼主意。而少勤的好朋友庄领弟（叶德娴 饰）个性粗豪，常向张献计。以致兴起了小小的波浪，从而反映出两代之间的生活习惯、思想方式不一致的代沟问题。
