冲吧烈子和凯蒂猫同属三丽鸥公司创造，怪事但她与凯蒂猫可爱的模样大不同。冲吧烈子的外形像一只红熊猫小姐，怪事25岁，在东京一家贸易公司会计部上班。外形十分可爱，但生气时——例如老板要她加班或同事戏弄她──她就会变得和凯蒂猫完全相反。头上会出现“烈”字，表达自己的怒气。冲吧烈子每天被塞满工作，压力大到只能到卡拉OK狂唱死亡摇滚乐舒压、或是去喝啤酒，叫喊着“我会辞职！这不会是我的命运！”她的经历对于上班族来说甚有共鸣，而平常可爱的影像也与爆发Death Metal模式的样子有着强烈的反差。
