周润(黄日华饰)为结婚努力赚钱，边缘但财政大权由女友简秀珍(薛彩霞饰)掌管，边缘饱受珍家人的欺凌。周润的电单车与富商华世生(刘兆铭饰)的车相撞，被要求赔偿，女友又拒绝给钱，萌生跳楼轻生念头，却与昔日笔友龙威(李扬道饰)重遇。华商场上的死敌关奉天(关海山饰)被华出卖，欲自杀被周润所救。关见周润正直，骗周润与他见面，乘机绑票。周润与龙威同往，却误把华的侄女晓冬(毛舜筠饰)带走。晓冬欲逃走，险生意外，幸得周润及时相救，她见二人良善，渐生好感……龙威建议利用晓冬向华勒索，华派手下持巨款与威谈判，目的竟然是……
